For the first time ever, this year’s event included a live auction with all proceeds going to SWCRF. Roberta Kramer, from Heritage Auctions, facilitated the live auction of limited, curated lots that included a two night stay at Loews Regency Hotel with dinner at Restaurant Daniel by renowned chef Daniel Boulud; a reservation for six at Rao’s; Breakfast at Tiffany’s with a beautiful 18k gold and diamonds Tiffany Knot Pendant, and an iconic Hermés Birkin Bag.

The fashion show concluded the afternoon, displaying a stunning summer collection from Ungaro by renowned designer Kobi Halperin, a long-time supporter of the foundation. Avra’s dining room was transformed into a catwalk as models presented the Summer 2022 collection.

Since its inception in 1976, the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation has awarded more than $100 million to support the work of more than 200 researchers across the globe. SWCRF is committed to allocating an additional $5 million over the next two years, and events like this make these investments possible.
